This is our final CD design for the digipack. We made it in Adobe Illustrator and linked it both to our other aspects of the Digipack and our research. Below is a break down of a few features we created on the CD.
This is a illustration we made on the CD itself to balance out the decoration between the top and bottom halves of the CD. We made it by getting two 'P' in the same font as 'Birdy' on the top half. We then flipped one so it was a reflection on the vertical edge. We then carefully lined them up to created this elegant pattern to put on our CD.

This image shows two of the features of our CD.
Firstly we can see the gradient fill we used the whole way around the outside of the CD. We did this for two reasons. We wanted the CD to link to the other aspects of the ancillary tasks and since we have a gradient fill on our poster it fitted in nicely. Additionally we used a gradient fill because it symbolises the effect of that when shooting at golden hour, which in turn links to our music video and other ancillary tasks.
Secondly we can see from this image that we have made our copyright declaration run the whole way around the CD like our research suggested. This is a professional finishing touches that exaggerates and compliments the gradient fill due to the white of the text.
Other important aspects to mention are things like the colour scheme. We spent alot of time thinking about the colour scheme as it could make or break our design. We choose white and brown. we choose white because it complimented the brown and relates back to the effect of the light in our music video and we choose brown because it relates to the poster as well as the idea of our lead in the music video being a earth goddess.
